1. d4 Ng8f6 2. c4 c5 3. Ng1f3 cxd4 {I figure that the central pawn is probably better than the c-pawn, but this has often lead to Maroczy-bindish positions for me which are no fun} 4. Nf3xd4 Nb8c6 5. Nb1c3 g6 6. e4 {Marcozy bind} d6
7. Bf1e2 Bf8g7 8. Bc1e3 O-O 9. O-O Nc6e5 {panning to bring the knight to c5 via d7 increasing the pressure on e4} 10. h3 a6 11. f4 Ne5d7 12. Qd1d2 Nd7c5
13. Be2f3 Qd8c7 14. Ra1c1 Bc8d7 15. Nc3d5 Nf6xd5 16. cxd5 {I consider this to be white's mistake. While it threatens b4 and further cramps blacks position, exd would have left black with an almost indefensible e7 pawn} Qc7b8 17. b4 Nc5a4
18. Rc1c2 Rf8c8 {Trying to exchange to win back some breathing room} 19. Rf1c1 Rc8xc2 20. Qd2xc2 Qb8c8 21. Qc2xc8 Ra8xc8
22. Rc1xc8 Bd7xc8 {White still has more space but has given away the majority of his advantage, solid defense gives me good hopes for a draw} 23. Kg1f2 Bc8d7 24. a3 Bd7b5?? {horrendous loss of a pawn} 25. Nd4xb5 axb5 26. Be3c1 Na4c3
27. Kf2e1 Kg8f8 28. Ke1d2 f5 29. exf5 (29. e5 dxe 30. Kxc3 e4+ 31. Kd3 exf3 32. gxf3 is good for white as black cannot defend the b-pawns.) gxf5 30. Bc1b2 Nc3e4 31. Kd2c2 Bg7xb2
32. Kc2xb2 Ne4d2 33. Bf3e2 Nd2c4 34. Be2xc4 bxc4 35. b5 e5 36. g3 h5
37. h4 e4 38. Kb2c3 e3 39. a4 Kf8e7 40. a5 Ke7d7 41. Kc3c2 Kd7c7 42. b6 Kc7d7
43. Kc2c3 Kd7c8 44. Kc3c2 Kc8d7 45. Kc2c3 Kd7c8 46. Kc3c2 Kc8d7 {a very interesting ending. Black uses a common theme with seperated passed pawns to ensure that they are immune from capture while white threatens a6, bxa6, b6-b7-b8=Q and black defends with his king. I believe that white has an interesting resource and timing is the key. White must wait until the black king is on the back rank. i.e. Kc3, Kc8, g4!, fxg4, f5, g3, f6, g2, f7, g1=Q, f8=Q+. Unfortunately after studying this for awhile, the extra tempo may not avail black despite the fact that the white queen can win the d-pawn with tempi. Further analysis is needed here} 1/2-1/2
